The Meaning Behind Faith Risen

Faith Risen is our first collection. It's built on the images Scripture uses to say what words alone can't.

Scripture doesn't only speak in sentences. It speaks in images: a lamp, a lamb, a crown, an eye, a number repeated until you can't miss it. Faith Risen, our first collection, is built on that language.

Why symbols

A single image can carry a whole passage. It rewards a second look, and when someone asks what it means, a conversation about faith has already started. That's the kind of clothing we want to make: pieces that point past themselves.

Eyes

All through the Bible, eyes are a picture of a God who sees. Nothing is hidden from Him, and nothing escapes His care.

"For the eyes of the LORD range throughout the earth to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." — 2 Chronicles 16:9 (NIV)

In Revelation, the living creatures around the throne are "covered with eyes, in front and in back" (Revelation 4:6 (NIV)). It's a strange image at first. It's also a comforting one: to be fully seen, and still fully loved.

Seven

Seven is Scripture's number of completeness. Creation is finished and blessed on the seventh day. In Revelation it's everywhere: seven churches, seven seals, seven trumpets. The Lamb at the center of the throne has "seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth" (Revelation 5:6 (NIV)).

When a seven shows up in a VAMILLION design, it's not a lucky number. It's a reminder that God's work is whole, and that He finishes what He starts.

Scripture in our own images

Not every piece borrows a symbol straight from the page. Some translate a verse into an image of our own. The Proverbs Mineral Shirt is one of them: its design is our picture of Proverbs 27:17 (NIV): "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

Others go back to the source. Our "Died for Your" design draws on the symbolism of Revelation, the book where these images are densest.

Why "Faith Risen"

The name points to the empty tomb:

"He is not here; he has risen, just as he said." — Matthew 28:6 (NIV)

Everything in this collection starts from there. Our faith isn't in an idea that stayed buried. It's in a Savior who rose.

More to come

Faith Risen is a collection, not a single release. A handful of new pieces are on the way, and each one starts the same way: with a symbol or a passage, studied first and designed second.
